Universal Waste

Universal Waste included items that are used on a daily basis that contain harmful chemicals like mercury, lead, cadmium and copper. These chemicals are harmful to environmental and human health alike and because of this, cannot be disposed of with normal trash waste. This includes common household batteries, fluorescent lamps, and mercury based items like thermometers.
