Banning, CA – The City of Banning is giving residents an opportunity to learn more about the City and ask questions at its Open House on Tuesday, October 17th from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
The first hour will allow citizens to ask questions directly to the City Council. Attendees will be asked to submit their questions at the beginning of the meeting and City officials will attempt to answer as many questions as possible in the one-hour timeframe. Only questions pertaining to City issues will be addressed.
Information tables will also be located around the Council Chambers with representatives from each of the City’s departments. Directors and other City staff will be available at each table to answer questions one-on-one from the public directly.
“At our regular meetings, the City Council is limited by the Brown Act and our agenda on how we can address the public,” said Mayor George Moyer. “This Open House gives us the opportunity to hear from the residents of our City and provide answers to their questions immediately.”
The City Council Chambers are located on the east side of City Hall, 99 E. Ramsey Street. The question and answer period with City Council will be live broadcast on Spectrum Channel 10, Frontier Channel 29, and online at banninglive.viebit.com.
Anyone with questions regarding the Open House are encouraged to contact the City Manager’s Office at (951) 922-4860 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
